Granted, the female werewolf could be super flat, but then she has the problem of not being clearly recognizable as female. Plus, can you really argue that a shirtless male werewolf and a shirtless female werewolf are equally as inherently sexual? Topless men aren't necessarily that big a deal, but topless women are pretty much always a sign of sexy time. However, I honestly doubt that, because even if I'm not into dudes nearly as much, I get male furry homo appeal to some degree, and I don't see that as built into the good male werewolves as much as straight appeal is deeply ingrained in all the good female werewolves. In which case, if I were super into dudes instead, it'd be flipped and I'd see the good male werewolves as insta-boners as well or just plain terrible all around, and be able to look at female werewolves independent of sex appeal. On the other hand, this might all simply be due to a bias based on my sexual preferences. A male werewolf can basically be a furry biped with snarly fangs and claws and a wolf face, but a female werewolf has to have that AND boobs and hips and thighs or she's indistinguishable from the dudes. So male werewolves can look cool, badass, etc in a relatively more gender-neutral animal sort of way, but the female ones, in order to be easily recognized as such, inevitably end up with more explicitly human secondary sex characteristics, and thus are much more likely to end up sexy. Conversely, a male werewolf easily registers, or at least defaults as male, without any explicit man parts out flopping around. And even if the nipples are covered by fur/conveniently left out, that's already enough to get me hot and bothered. And since werewolves wear little to no clothes and pretty much NEVER shirts, that inevitably means that aside from bare or hardly covered hips and thighs, they got those bare breasts out for all to see. Now, with that said, would people agree that the werewolf concept applies differently to male and female characters? The primary reason I believe this might be is that to make a werewolf obviously female, you really gotta crank up the physical aspects that denote the female form in particular, and now you got dem sexy hips and thighs on display, to start with. Male werewolves can look cool without being especially sexual, but female werewolves that manage to appeal at all, always do it on a fap bait level primarily. Like, I can't think of a single good female werewolf design that wasn't talking straight to my dick first and foremost. However, with female werewolves, they either look really bad, or are obvious boner material first and foremost. So here's something I've noticed about werewolves: While good werewolf designs are hard to come by either way, it's very possible to make cool looking male werewolves that aren't blatantly sexy fap bait.
